Bert Groenewegen

Bert Groenewegen started his career in 1980 with Exxon in the Netherlands.
He then practised as an international tax consultant with BDO and held several international senior management positions during his career, notably, as director in charge of Continental Europe for Laura Ashley PLC and Finance and Organization Director for G-Star International BV.
Bert then set up Focus Energy Solutions BV as co-owner involved in some of the largest Cleantech and Renewable Energy projects implemented to date, including offshore wind projects, acting as Project Managers for major renewable energy companies and for a leading European electricity transmission system operator (TSO).
Bert has additionally, performed many interim management and consultancy assignments involving corporate compliance, restructuring and IP integrity.
Within ICE, Bert acts as general, finance and legal counsel.
