Oles Kopets
Fibre Procurement/Logistics Director
Oles is a graduate of Harvard Kennedy School (Class of 2002) with 18 years of previous experience in investment banking and corporate turnaround situations.
He worked with US-owned investment bank Foyil Securities covering Eastern Europe where he managed the proprietary desk and corporate finance functions for the group.
Oles has executed deals in the pulp and paper, insurance, retail, manufacturing, and agricultural sectors.
Since 2012 Oles has been involved in the Forestry and Biofuels sectors specifically, having established among other projects, one of the largest fibre procurement and export companies in Eastern Europe, which sourced, processed, and shipped more than 300,000 tonnes of waste fibre per annum: for delivery to leading Turkish and Italian MDF manufacturers.
At ICE, Oles is responsible for sourcing and contracting of logistics, fibre supply, and relationships with our road, rail, and ocean logistics partners.
